Students that are in grades 9th-12th and are current Interact Club members are eligible to apply for a 500.00 dollar scholarship. There will be two different scholarships awarded for $500.00 each. Dan Sobeck Memorial Scholarship – Due April 4, 2025
The Sobeck family will award a $1000 scholarship annually to a graduating Senior enrolled in a Trade School or an Apprenticeship Program for a trade.
This scholarship has been created by Dan’s wife and children in memory of him. Dan was a graduate of Wabasha-Kellogg High School and then later was the Head Custodian for the School District for several years. Dan encouraged students that were not college bound to continue their post high school education through a trade program that would help them achieve success in their career choice.
Any student who attends Wabasha-Kellogg High School, including those students who attend PSEO courses full-time or part-time are eligible to apply.
TRADE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
* This scholarship is open to students who will be attending a trade school.
* Scholarship will be mailed directly to the recipient’s post-secondary school after proof of completion of first quarter/semester.
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP
*This scholarship program is open to students entering a paid apprenticeship program for a trade. Scholarship funds may be used for reimbursement of classroom training expense, books, tools and equipment required for the apprenticeship program. Proof of purchase receipts must be submitted before reimbursement will be made.
*Students will be required to complete 300 hours of the apprenticeship to be eligible for reimbursement.
*A signed letter from your apprenticeship supervisor/foreman will be required to verify that the 300 hour requirement has been met.

Lucille Burrichter Scholarship
St. Elizabeth’s Lucille Burrichter Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that ONE HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP will be awarded to a high school senior student at Wabasha-Kellogg High School. Graduating seniors interested in pursuing a healthcare career are eligible. March 10, 2025 is the deadline to submit applications to Kat Freihammer.

Pheasants are Forever Scholarship Opportunity
Wabasha County Pheasants Forever is offering a $1000 scholarship to one graduating senior
from one of the three senior high schools within the county that will be pursuing a degree in
outdoor conservation, education, or law enforcement.
Requirements to apply for the scholarship:
● Type a page essay reasoning why you would be a good candidate for this award.
● Applications should include a typed short biography (no more than one page) including
past experiences and accomplishments related to the course of study.
Who can apply:
● Any student who attends Wabasha-Kellogg High School, to include those students who
attend PSEO courses full-time or part-time. The applicant must be pursuing a degree in
outdoor conservation, education, or law enforcement.
