Doug and Cara Grisim of Bluff Country School Bus Service has been in business since 1995 when they purchased 8 buses from Raleigh and MaryAnn Tiedeman in Lake City and provided student transportation services to the Lake City schools. They currently own 54 school buses and employ 64 people while providing services to the Lake City, Wabasha-Kellogg, and Plainview-Elgin-Millville school districts.
Doug grew up in a school bus family in Northfield, MN where his father, Ken, owned and operated buses starting in 1969. Doug currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a past President of the Minnesota School Bus Operators Association and is very proud to be in this industry serving families with care and compassion.
